Dino-Mite 2nd Birthday Party

For my son's 2nd birthday we threw my son a purple and green Dino-Mite Party. The whole house was decorated with balloons and streamers but I just took photos of the Dino Table to share.

 

I used dino wrapping paper on everything. From covering my photos, to a table runner and I glued it to the treat bags

I tried making the poms myself with streamers after seeing them on Pinterest. They were okay. 

I wish I showed a picture of the cake when it was cut. The slices were green and purple on the inside.

My sister is due soon and her Baby Shower was colorful for her little boy. 

She is definitely Ready to Pop!

The massive "grab bags" help activities for each girl all night.

Vintage Brown & Blue Baby Shower

                   I had a simple baby shower for my best friend in August at my home.

 A baby shower wreath great guest at my door. The mom-to-be used the stickers in her scrap book.

This is the favor table set up. 

                       In my living room I covered existing frames to go with the theme.

 My husband loves to carve watermelons for occasions. Here is his stroller carving and the food set-up.

We call this punch "Bath Water" Very tasty and better than the typical party punch.

I'm ready!

People say the devil is in the details. I choose to think of it as love. There has to be enough care and thoughtfulness to make make sure every bow is tied just right, ever sticker is on straight, and the ends are cut just perfectly.

I have always loved a good party, and as I became a mother and wife, then a homeowner, I have so many excuses to through a grand affair on a budget. I think of myself as even luckier to have people in my life with the same interest and passion as I do.
